In an official statement, Readyverse Studios has announced the release of OPEN, a high-budget battle royale game that falls under the Metaverse category and is designed for both PC and current generation consoles.
The development of this game is being undertaken by Walker Labs, a studio comprised of former members from renowned companies such as Epic Games, Dice, and Microsoft.
Additionally, Readyverse Studios is founded by Shara Sandroff, Aaron MacDonald, and Ernst Klein.
Many readers may recognize the last name, as Ernst Klein is the author of the popular novel Ready Player One.
Consequently, Ready Player One will have a significant presence within OPEN and will have its own dedicated ecosystem.
